Casalquidi Altoid Box

This is a new technique to myself that was offered through SNS (Shining Needle Society http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SNS_Home_Room/?yguid=246277240) and taught by Jane Ellen Balzuweit.

Having previously done several stump work projects the three dimensional aspect of this appealed to me.

We were given the option of doing this in traditional white on white or in colour.  As complex as this looks it uses very basic stitches.
Following Jane's instructions both in the given booklet and her weekly online lessons makes this a very doable project.

I did change the finishing a tad by using ribbon instead of cording.  This was in order to hide the red sides of the lid and the typing on the bottom side.
The inside base is lined with the provided suedette fabric and magnet strip.
